Gemini Print Operations

When you have received and agreed your custom estimate and proofread your completed designs, your print job will then be scheduled with one of our internal Gemini Print Operations Managers for them to action and manage. At our Gemini Head Quarters in Shoreham-by-Sea, this will be overseen by either Dave or Scott. 

Meet Dave

Dave has been an Operations Manager at Gemini Print for 6 years.

“I have to work towards the deadline, so after receiving the print from the studio imposed and proofread, I make sure we can complete the work. I follow the whole process from here to the finish, I liaise with all members of staff from the Account Executives, to make sure a true time scale is given and with the Dispatch team to make sure it can be delivered in this time.”

Dave might also have to work with outsourcing if Gemini needs to work with other companies. Dave works hard to make sure that all problems are solved, and the job is done for the client well and on time. “We are a 24hr business, so I also make sure that the night shift workers know what needs to be done for the following morning.” 


Meet Andy

Andy is also an Operations Manager at Gemini in Shoreham-by-Sea. Andy and Dave work closely together to make sure that the job gets completed. 

Andy and Dave also decide if the print work should be Litho or Digital and advise on what machine it could be printed on. The print job is then sent onto either Karl, in Litho or James in Digital.
