All Gemini 2017 calendars showcase artwork from ‘Artists Open Houses’ – a festival that runs twice a year and is open to anyone in the 01273 – telephone code area. The festival provides a unique experience for visitors, where you can view an array of work from contemporary and original local artists and makers in their homes, as well as meeting the artists and buying artwork and crafts directly from them.
Gemini are the official print sponsor of the festival for the third year running and recently ran a competition where all artists were invited to submit seasonal images for inclusion in the calendar, with all proceeds going to the Starr Trust charity.
Fundraising manager from Starr Trust – Rosie Molloy commented ‘The Starr Trust supports children aged between 10 and 18 living in the BN post code to help them to fulfil their potential in sport, art and education. We offer grants of up to £5000 per year to help them to achieve their goals at a time when they really need it. Every single penny raised helps us to help the young people who live in our area. For more information please see our website – www.starrtrust.com’.
