Strictly Fabulous £500 Prize Launch

To celebrate the launch of the Gemini Print & Brighton Fringe DESIGN for PRINT Award 2019 Jason Musk, General Manager of the Heritage Portfolio welcomed the judges and the Brighton LindyHoppers to the terrace of the BAi360 West Beach Café and Bar.  With the ‘best views in town,’ everyone danced the afternoon away to the sounds of the thirties.

The 2019 judges with a combination of design, media, marketing and print expertise are: Gemini Print Group Director Mark Tulley, Title Media Sussex Managing Editor Sam Harrington Lowe, Brighton Fringe Marketing Manager Darren Smallman and Mosaic Creates Managing Director Laurie Griffiths.

The Gemini DesignHero has been busy welcoming entries to the design awards https://www.gemini-print.co.uk/the-gemini-design-hero-is-seeking-the-winner-of-500/ – all performers, designers and venue teams are invited to enter free by simply emailing any artwork created for their printed promotion of Brighton Fringe 2019 to designaward@gemini-print.co.uk (up to five PDFs before the end of Friday 26th April 2019).

Gemini Print www.gemini-print.co.uk is the official print partner to the Brighton Fringe www.brightonfringe.orgMark Tulley said “as in previous years the prize is £500 of free printing, so the judges are looking for an eye-catching and informative design that has a strong impact on motivating people to book their places at a Fringe event or performance.  It is brilliant design skills that ensure you gain the proven power and response strengths of paper and print.”

One of the many exciting events at the Brighton Fringe will be two magical ‘Brighton Swing Thing’ events at the Spiegeltent on 4th and 25th May 13.00 to 16.00hrs– magical afternoons including a beginners swing dance plus a live band, dancing and performance by the Brighton Lindyhoppers.  The troupe led by Graeme and Amanda teach fun and friendly swing dance classes every weekday evening in Brighton and Hove www.brightonlindyhoppers.co.uk.
